I thought it was going to be nigh-on impossible to design a logo that could capture what I wanted to communicate… I had visions of endless designs, redesigns and re-thinks, but in the end, it was pretty simple: I just focused on the elements that I wanted to communicate and let the designer do the rest.
The 4 basic but essential values of the service offer that I wanted my logo to represent:
- The value of working at the interface between different functions – Content, Creative, Marketing and Operations – to stimulate innovation (the interlinking circle)
- The integration of sustainability into business objectives (the colour green)
- The importance of diversity and in this specific case, my Celtic background applied to international contexts (the shape is adapted from an ancient Celtic symbol).
- The focus on a forward direction; always aiming for better performance improvements (the forward-pointing arrow shape)
