What’s in a logo?

I thought it was going to be nigh-on impossible to design a logo that could capture what I wanted to communicate… I had visions of endless designs, redesigns and re-thinks, but in the end, it was pretty simple: I just focused on the elements that I wanted to communicate and let the designer do the rest.

The 4 basic but essential values of the service offer that I wanted my logo to represent:

  1. The value of working at the interface between different functions – Content, Creative, Marketing and Operations – to stimulate innovation (the interlinking circle)
  2. The integration of sustainability into business objectives (the colour green)
  3. The importance of diversity and in this specific case, my Celtic background applied to international contexts (the shape is adapted from an ancient Celtic symbol).
  4. The focus on a forward direction; always aiming for better performance improvements (the forward-pointing arrow shape)

A big thanks to Lorenzo Venturini and James Thompson for their art direction.
